Job description

Position Summary:
The Bingo Agent is responsible for Bingo floor operations, including, but not limited to, sales cashiering before games, caller, floor person, and other assigned stations. Agents are responsible for providing Guests with excellent service that includes helping Guests with Bingo equipment, Bingo verification, and other assistance as needed. This job requires a high level of multitasking between Guest requests and Bingo floor operations while maintaining a positive attitude and providing friendly, efficient service to Guests and Team Members. Responsibilities must be performed in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.
Essential Functions:
1. Practice, support, and promote Thunder Valley Casino Resort's "ELITE" company-wide service mission and demonstrate AAA Four Diamond service standards at all times.
2. Comply with signatory controls and money handling requirements.
3. Comply with all Bingo Department policies and procedures. Provide constructive feedback to Bingo Department management on necessary changes and improvements.
4. Be aware of all Guest and Team Member activities in assigned area.
5. Act as a sales cashier prior to games.
6. Sell Bingo packages and related items and services to Guests, and account for funds.
7. Act alternatively as caller and floor person.
8. When performing the role of caller, call numbers drawn and display them to the Guests. Operate Bingo equipment, and verify winners to racked balls.
9. When performing the role of floor person, observe players during the call, verify winning papers and electronic units, and obtain payouts from payout cashier to give to winning Guest(s). May also be responsible for selling pull tab and paper specials on the floor.
10. Perform Guest outreach such as explaining Bingo.
11. Set up the Bingo equipment and the Bingo balls.
12. Assist with promotions as required.
13. Provide and create a Guest experience that exceeds Guest expectations and builds loyalty.
14. Practice teamwork and support fellow Team Members to create an energized, positive work atmosphere.
15. Give full attention to Guest opportunities, and take ownership of these opportunities to ensure Guest satisfaction.
16. Observe and safeguard assets of the company.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Previous Bingo experience preferred.
2. High school education or equivalent preferred.
3. Money handling and math skills.
4. Must have basic computer skills.
5. Ability to learn and understand Title 31 requirements.
6. Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
7. Ability to consistently display friendly, courteous, polite behavior with a positive attitude.
8. Must be at least 21 years of age.
9. Must be able to obtain UAIC Tribal Gaming License.
Physical Requirements:
1. Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.
2. Requires walking, reaching, turning, bending, lifting, carrying, observing, hearing, sitting.
3. Requires the ability to push, pull, transport, and maneuver items weighing up to 100 lbs. and lift up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance.
4. Requires manual dexterity to use job related equipment.
