The responsibilities of a video game technician include the care, repair, cleaning, and maintenance of gaming consoles, game computers, and other related hardware in businesses such as casinos and arcades. As a video game technician, you install and move machines, replace broken game tech, ensure all equipment functions properly, and may assist in resolving user disputes. Other duties include performing preventative maintenance and troubleshooting any issues that arise. You must follow all the rules of the venue in which you work as well as company procedures for servicing the machines.
