The responsibilities of a video game technician include the care, repair, cleaning, and maintenance of gaming consoles, game computers, and other related hardware in businesses such as casinos and arcades. As a video game technician, you install and move machines, replace broken game tech, ensure all equipment functions properly, and may assist in resolving user disputes. Service Technicians are the most valued team members in our business. Our technicians are charged with the responsibility to perform scheduled service and preventative maintenance on amusement and merchandising games.
Service Technicians have a position that requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to new challenges and opportunities. You will work closely with other team members in our technical department as well as in the field. Duties include the setup and testing of newly released amusement machines, refurbishing machines, troubleshooting and component repair, installing machines into new locations and programming machines for proper operation.
Previous amusements, arcade, video game, coin operated redemption or route experience is preferred but not required. We will train the right candidate that demonstrates the ambition and desire to excel. If you are attending technical school and are looking to work in the field of electronics, this is a great place to start.
Requirements
Service Technicians are required to possess the following qualifications and skills:
-Successful completion of a minimum 2 year Technical Training Program or a minimum of 3 years of technical work experience.
-Outstanding customer relations and service skills
