Inside Sales Rep/Customer Service (Full-Time Mon-Fri 8AM-5PM)
Job Summary:
The purpose of the Level 1 Inside Sales Rep is to work closely with our accounts and deliver the highest possible level of service to our customers/vendors. The Inside Sales Rep will handle all of the needs of the assigned accounts and work closely with our outside sales team to ensure that these accounts remain in good standing with the company. This employee is responsible for impeccable recordkeeping and communication skills. The Inside Sales Rep assists in projects assigned by the office supervisor, and fully participates with the office team towards success in sales initiatives. This employee will work to help grow sales for assigned accounts. This position looks to improve the office, making suggestions and taking part in departmental goals.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Responds quickly and accurately to incoming calls and emails.
- Processes needed paperwork on a timely basis. Responds to every email within 24 hours or sooner.
- Processes orders, calls, returns, gathering documents, etc. Assists customer base in every way
- Assists Office supervisor/management team in any projects delegated.
- Responsible for answering the phone on the second ring.
- Presents ideas to the manager for needed improvements, suggests things that would benefit the company or the team.
- Checks and verifies every customer account on a daily basis.
- Checks for back orders and special promotions for each assigned account.
- Follows procedures set into place by the Office Supervisor
- Processes outside sales rep orders and ISO’s from vendors. Treats vendors and Outside sales reps as customers, providing excellent service
- Makes customer specialized order forms as requested
- Deletes backorders within 5 business days of creating, or according to policy
- Assists with helping to proofread the sales book on a monthly basis.
- Processes returns following guidelines set forth in the company policy
- Presents as a team player, maintaining a positive attitude. Maintains complete respect of all company departments and employees
Level 1- possible assigned extra tasks/cross training
-Astro redemptions and rebates. Check website multiple times a day and issue rebates and redemptions accordingly and accurately
-Frequent buyer redemption
-various projects and excel spreadsheet work
-data entry needs
-sales calls
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
