Quality Inspector 2nd shift - TalentZok

Immediate opening for a Quality Inspector 2nd shift in Brea, CA who possesses:

* Recent IPC experience OR
* Recent inspection under a microscope OR
* 2+ years' recent SMT inspection OR
* Recent testing on electronics OR
* Recent Cable Assembly and/or wire harness experience

The following is preferred:

* 3+ Years hands-on IPC experience
* 3 Years of Inspection experience ideally working under a microscope
* Understand Electronics

FULL DESCRIPTION: Our client is looking for a talented Quality Inspector in Brea, CA.

The selected candidate will possess the following qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of related inspection experience in electronics manufacturing
Ability to read blueprints, drawings, specifications and PCB gerbers
Skilled in electrically measuring resistors and capacitors
Ability to operate AOI equipment is desirable
Expertise in reading component values by inspecting parts
Knowledge of various computer programs (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and adobe)

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

Input data into Statistical Process Control (SPC) database and evaluate
Use precision measuring instruments to determine adherence to electrical specifications
Verify completeness of documentation as required per work order traveler and internal procedures
Read blueprints and/or engineering specifications to obtain information such as specified material, electrical, cosmetic requirements and workmanship instructions
Perform line, in-process, sub-assembly, shipping, and receiving inspection as required
Assist in failure investigations, root cause analysis and corrective action activities and quality improvement projects

Salary Range: $21/hr
