MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED Certificate
Associate degree in a related field
2 - 3 years' experience in communication systems.
2 - 3 years' experience in comprehensive computerized systems.
2 - 3 years' experience in computer systems.
2 - 3 years' experience in customer service management.
2 - 3 years' experience in statistical work.
Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, MS Access based databases, PowerPoint and Power BI).
Navajo speaking is preferred
Must be ambitious, enthusiastic, a self-starter, loyal, respectful, innovative, strong interpersonal and oral communication skills; time management qualities are essential to handle multi-tasks assignments.
Requires a Valid Driver's License (subject to motor vehicle review)
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES:
Works with departments to determine workloads, personnel availability and resources required for performing capital, operational and maintenance work orders. Performs the notification to work order conversions and work orders settlements with the utility departments utilizing the SAP business software system.
Coordinates the activities and Work/ Service orders of the Lead Information Technology Technician and Computer Technicians, and IT-Systems, IT-SAP, & IT-Security. Meter Readers and Electric, Water, Wastewater and Natural Gas Department.
Reviews notifications, and reports of various activities related to work performed by the Information Technology personnel, attempted diversions, defective meters, and other faults within the utility systems. Coordinates the investigation and corrections with each appropriate department.
Assists with the development of planning requirements and timeframe estimations for maintenance work performed by Activity Groups.
Create and review weekly/monthly reports and schedule review summary to evaluate performance and offer suggestions to actions required for improving service and performance.
Provides excellent service and information on utility service orders to customers.
Distributes reports and statistical and reporting data to supervisors, management, superintendents and foremen.
Communicates with supervisors to keep all lines of information flowing and advise departments of changes to work orders.
