FULL DESCRIPTION: The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the design and generation of part and assembly drawings in 2-D and 3-D, efficiently using all available tools (SolidWorks, AutoCad, etc). This position requires an extremely high attention to detail, the ability to interact with multiple departments in the organization and the innovation to find ways to improve service to our customers and cut internal costs.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Design and generate part drawings and assembly drawings in both 2-D and 3-D using all available tools
• Troubleshoot manufacturing problems associated with present designs
• Interact with purchasing and vendors to expedite procurement of parts when needed
• Assist sales with customer interaction to resolve production and/or design issues
• Pursue innovative ways to cut costs while improving quality

The selected candidate will also possess:

• College degree preferred; HSD required
• Experience using SolidWorks, AutoCad and other design tools preferred
• Experience in RF/Microwave industry preferred
