Summer Food & Beverage Staff - Poolside

We are looking to grow our seasonal poolside food and beverage team with energetic, responsible servers. Whether you are a seasoned professional or a first timer, we have a position for you. Previous work experience is a plus but certainly not required. If you are off from school for the summer, this is a perfect time to join the team for the season!

Job Description:

Responsible for taking orders from and serving food to customers in a timely and hospitable manner, while adhering to standards of professionalism and a friendly attitude. Previous work experience involving customer service is a plus but certainly not required. Servers will be responsible for taking orders from and serving food and beverages to members and guests in a timely and hospitable manner around the pool of the Chapel Hill Country Club, so the desire to be outside is a must. We offer a fun, team-friendly environment.

Responsibilities:

Take food and drink orders from members accurately and with a positive attitude. Write members' food orders and enter orders into computer for transmission to kitchen staff. Accurately charge members' account. Engage with members in a friendly manner and remember their name, when possible. Ensure members and guestsd are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems.

Requirements:

Ability to remember members' names and anticipate their needs to provide superior service without prompts. A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with managers, cooks, and other staff. Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised. Able to accurately operate a point-of-sale system. Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and deliver orders in a timely manner, outside during the warm months. A willingness to learn and to grow with us along the way.
