Accounts Payable Specialist

RREMC Restaurants is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist. Qualified candidate will be responsible for processing accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures. Qualified candidate will perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts payable data. Candidate will prepare bills, invoices for payment and review statements for missing invoices. Will assist with other accounting functions as needed. We follow all COVID 19 safety guidelines as established by CDC and adhere to social distancing and sanitized environment.

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Review and verify invoices and check requests

Sort, code and match invoices

Set invoices up for payment

Enter and upload invoices into system

Reconcile accounts payable transactions

Review Vendor statements

Prepare analysis of accounts

Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date

Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues

Maintain vendor files

Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries

Produce monthly reports

Assist with month end closing

Provide supporting documentation for audits

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Accounts Payable and general accounting principles
• Strong computer skills with knowledge in financial applications
• Proficient and accurate in data entry skills
• Must be detailed oriented and have strong time management skills to be able to multi-task
• Must possess 1-3 years general accounting and payable experience.
