PrideStaff/Southfield is hiring Legal Assistants Paralegal.

The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth running of the office and effective case management by providing legal services under the supervision of an attorney. This individual will communicate frequently with the clients in order to serve them adequately. Additionally, this candidate will conduct necessary case research to aid the legal proceedings.

This Law firm is a fast-paced personal injury law firm that offers great benefits, medical, dental, vision, and a generous 401 K profit-sharing program. Life insurance, along with generous vacation and personal time.

Compensation based on experience.

Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities

Electronic e-file, transcription/dictation, schedule hearings, depositions, and diary case dates.
Keep attorney calendar and communicate with clients, along with scanning and drafting of correspondence.
The potential candidate must have the ability to multi-task, work well in a team environment, have superior communication skills, and be highly organized and detail-oriented.
Provide administrative support to lawyer
Handle communication with clients
Locate and develop case-relevant information

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Experience in legal assistance is a must.
Familiarity with law, legal procedures, and protocols
Experience in Medical Malpractice is preferred.
The potential candidate must have the ability to multi-task, work well in a team environment, have superior communication skills, and be highly organized and detail-oriented.
You must be able to work well under pressure.
