BUSINESS LITIGATION PARALEGAL Location: New York, NY Compensation: $90,000 – $120,000 annually Employment Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Overview: Our client is seeking an experienced Business Litigation Paralegal to join its New York office. This role provides full-cycle paralegal support to a practice group leader and works directly with licensed attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, including preparation and trial. The position is supervised by the Senior Manager of Practice Support Services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and draft discovery requests, responses, subpoenas, notices, and other court pleadings and documents.
  • Summarize and highlight key portions of deposition, hearing, and trial transcripts, as well as medical records.
  • Identify, collect, and organize factual evidence, including deposition and witness outlines and trial exhibits.
  • Create organizational systems, including preparation of annotated binders, for case documents.
  • Conduct document reviews and prepare document productions.
  • Maintain familiarity with court filing procedures, local rules, and individual practices of assigned judges.
Requirements & Preferences
  • Education: Associate's Degree or Paralegal Certification required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. Equivalent litigation experience will be considered.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience required; candidates with more than the minimum are strongly preferred.
  • Business litigation experience is required.
  • Trial experience is preferred.
  • E-discovery experience is a significant plus.
  • Document management/review experience is a significant plus.
  • Experience completing electronic filings with various entities is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) required.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to balance multiple projects, and excellent time management skills.
  • Must demonstrate professionalism and strong interpersonal skills; ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
