Position responsibilities include: 

  • Serve as the primary and/or lead paralegal on business litigation matters.
  • Assist with fact investigation and evidence development, including document collection, review, analysis, and production.
  • Prepare case summaries, reports, and court or agency filings.
  • Organize and manage deposition, motion, hearing, and trial materials, including exhibits and supporting documents.
  • Coordinate logistics for depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials with attorneys, clients, witnesses, vendors, agencies and courts.
  • Attend meetings, hearings, trials and other proceedings with attorneys, as needed, and utilize trial presentation software.
  • Conduct factual and legal research, including client and witness interviews.
  • Draft correspondence, pleadings, motions, briefs, and other case-related documents.
  • Track deadlines, maintain case calendars, and ensure timely compliance with court rules and applicable regulations.
  • Communicate with clients to gather information and provide case updates while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Create, maintain, and search case databases; manage document organization, chronologies, and production logs.
  • Assist with trial preparation and post-case file management, including records retention and file closure.


Qualified applicants will have:

  • Associate degree or Paralegal Certificate plus three to five years’ litigation experience required. 
  • Experience as a financial services paralegal is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with litigation software solutions, including e-discovery platforms and exhibit and trial organization and presentation software. 
  • Applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, agency and court rules and procedures, practices, etc.
  • Strong written and verbal skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of personnel. 
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products is a must.
