2nd Shift PC Material Handler

RESPONSIBILITIES: - Receiving components through DNUS docks, checking documents, and performing physical counting of receiving shipments, confirming internal customer’s demand quantities and warehouse inventories, preparing empty containers to return, maintaining the cleanliness of empty containers, coordinating with other internal departments, and other tasks outlined by Internal Logistics Group Leaders. Interact with SAP and Microsoft Office (Excel) and verify the correct labels used for shipments from suppliers to prevent any mislabeling/feeding errors to internal customers. The Material Handler will report directly to internal logistics Group Leaders and communicate with the assembly team leader and group leaders to ensure an accurate and timely supply of components to their line side for a smooth production environment.

 The Material Handler will be able to operate forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and other available pallet-transfer methods provided by DNUS.
As a part of the above, and on an ongoing basis will also:

• Ensuring supplier part quantities in both internal customer’s lineside storage and Internal Logistics warehouse.
• Ensuring the consistent and adequate checking of labels, Bill of Ladings, and Packing Slips.
• Tracking production volume throughout each day to ensure sufficient inventories are on hand.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

• 2+ years of professional experience in material handling, operating forklifts/electric pallet jacks, or a related position.
• Knowledge of material storing, racking, and FIFO.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel is a plus.
