Description

Our client, a rapidly growing transportation company, is looking for an Agile Business Analyst, someone who will work closely with the Product Manager, Applications development team, and business/operations teams at client. The role of the ABA is to support the Product Manager by assisting in requirements gathering, analysis, data entry, and coordination. The ABA must learn and understand the business requirements by engaging with stakeholders, business team members, and software developers to translate those requirements to the technology team to build out new features, document bugs in existing features and how they need to be corrected, as well as assisting in data analysis and reporting as needed. The analyst is to act as the go-between the business team and the development team to ensure what is being developed matches business expectations.

*This position is located in Charlotte, NC.  It is a hybrid role, 2 days in the office, 3 days remote

Requirements

  • Documenting current and future state product functionality using Process Flow Diagrams
  • Initiating and leading requirements sessions through user interviews and focus groups
  • Compiling detailed business requirements in clear, concise Agile User Stories and testable Acceptance Criteria using Behavior Driven Development
  • Working in tandem with UI/UX designers, developers, and QA testers to complete Sprint deliverables
  • Leading User Story grooming sessions
  • Participating in all relevant Agile ceremonies, such as daily standups, Sprint Retrospectives, and Sprint Planning
  • Providing implementation and production support
  • Partnering with Product Manager to produce project level communication, reporting, and tracking

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • 3-5 years’ experience working in a fast-paced Agile environment as a Business Analyst
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interact with others effectively and professionally, regardless of position
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as solid group presentation skills
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Experience working with a collaborative issue-tracking tool, such as Jira or Azure DevOps
