Senior Business Analyst

Position: Senior Business Analyst

Duration: 36 Months

Location: Sacramento, California (Onsite from Day 1)

• Experienced with the functional design of all the components, has a solution-wide view and ensures each component/module works together to address the functional requirements.
• Ensures the configured solution addresses all the functional requirements
• Provides the methodology/approach to building the solution.
• Works with SMEs of the business units to understand the solution and process requirements and articulate the requirements to the Contractor's Project team leads.
• Ensures that the proposed solution aligns with the business requirements of the organization.
• Works with the State Product Owner and Project team to define and document business needs, technical needs, and objectives.
• Analyzes existing state-created business process diagrams and requirements to develop User Stories.
• Creates conceptual data diagrams.
• Propose modifications to business workflows to solve problems.
• Conducts change impact analysis to assess the potential implications of changes.
• Tracks and fully documents change for functional and business specifications.
• Responsible for all quality control practices and policies.
• Assists in development and testing tasks as needed.
• Assists in training and knowledge transfer activities as needed.

Staff Mandatory Qualifications:

• The Senior Business Analyst shall have at least five (5) years of FTE experience within the last ten (10) years of gathering requirements, producing design specifications, requirements specifications, wireframes, data maps, converting business requirements to technical and functional specifications as Senior Business Analyst on implementations of enterprise technology solutions with a minimum value of $3M.
• The Senior Business Analyst shall have at least three (3) years of FTE experience within the last ten (10) years of evaluating Business Processes and documenting migration activities on technology solutions with a minimum value of $3M.
• The Senior Business Analyst shall have at least two (2) years of FTE experience within the last five (5) years with the proposed technology to be implemented in the ERP project.

Staff Desirable Qualifications:

• The Senior Business Analyst has at least two (2) additional years of FTE experience within the last ten (10) years of gathering requirements, producing design specifications, requirements specifications, wireframes, data maps, converting business requirements to technical and functional specifications as Senior Business Analyst on implementations of enterprise technology solutions.
• The Senior Business Analyst has at least two (2) additional years of FTE experience within the last seven (7) years with the proposed technology to be implemented in the ERP Project.
• The Senior Business Analyst has at least two (2) years of FTE experience with State business processes and workflows.
