Our primary function is to offer continuous nursing, medical, and other health and social services on a 24-hour basis, under physician directed care and RN supervision.

Job Summary: Under general direction of the CFO evaluates, plans and supervises registration, financial counseling and cashiering services consistent with hospital operation goals and objectives.
Minimal Acceptable Job Qualifications
Licensure: None required
Experience: Two to three years progressively more responsible experience in an acute care facility providing patient accounting services and/or registration services, which included two years in a supervisory role.
Education: High School diploma or GED required.
Associate degree preferred, but 4-5 years' work experience.
Job Knowledge & Skills:

Job Knowledge & Skills:
- Requires in-depth knowledge of process utilized in the admission, processing and discharge of hospital clients, regulatory and public assistance requirements and accounting principles utilized in debit/credit management, as well as legislation impacting same.
- Demonstrates knowledge of management theory and practice to effectively lead unit associates.
- Requires strong analytical and organizational skills necessary to integrate client process to service providers and optimize client payment receipts for same.
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communications skills, both verbal and written, necessary to interact effectively with all internal and external unit customers, as needed.
