About this position

Position Summary: The Medical Practice Supervisor is a key team member in a CCMA Physician Practice Region supporting multiple locations. Under the leadership of the Regional Practice Manager provides onsite day to day operational support in a manner that supports exceptional patient care and promotes financial stability. The Medical Office Supervisor is responsible for ensuring all practice needs are met by collaborating with practice staff.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Medical Assistant course preferred.

Experience

Two to Four years of relevant work experience as a lead/supervisor in a medical/physician's office required.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
  • Knowledge of basic software applications to include Electronic Health Record management.
  • Knowledge working with Athena and experience with Meditech
  • Skill in dealing with interpersonal issues and customer relations.
  • Ability to lead multiple staff/disciplines; minimum 10 FTE's
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities at once with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to organize and communicate clearly.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient and employee information.
