Job description:

A growing interventional pain management practice serving Austin, Kyle, San Marcos, and Dripping Springs, TX is seeking a talented and experienced Medical Practice Administrator. This key role is vital for ensuring smooth operational workflows, delivering exceptional patient experiences, and fostering a positive, high-performing team culture.

The ideal candidate is an organized, people-focused leader who combines strong operational expertise, financial acumen, and excellent interpersonal skills.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the practice, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows
  • Manage staff scheduling, hiring, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations
  • Serve as a leader and point of contact for staff, fostering teamwork and accountability
  • Monitor practice financials, including budgeting, payroll coordination, billing, and expense control
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures (HIPAA, OSHA, etc.)
  • Optimize patient experience by improving processes, communication, and service quality
  • Collaborate with providers/owners on strategic planning, growth initiatives, and operational improvements
  • Manage vendor relationships, supplies, and facility needs
  • Address patient concerns or escalations professionally and promptly


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required - healthcare administration, public health, business or similar preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in practice management or healthcare administration (required)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience managing teams and improving operational efficiency
  • Knowledge of healthcare billing, scheduling systems, and EHR/PM software
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Financial management or budgeting experience preferred
