Our amazing sales team is looking for a new colleague for an Inside Sales Account Manager opportunity! This is a remote role selling DEMDACO products to retail businesses, primarily using telephone and electronic communication. The essential duties and responsibilities the following: (additional duties may be assigned)

  • Utilizes customer lists provided by Director of Sales for use as sales leads - lists that are territory based and consist of existing customers.
  • Calls accounts and leads within vacant territories
  • Utilizes lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from ad inquiries, trade shows, direct mail responses and other sources.
  • Makes outbound calls to potential and existing customers by virtual appointment (Zoom), telephone and e-mail to qualify leads and sell products and services.
  • Handles inbound sales lead calls to convert calls into sales.
  • Overcomes technical and business objections of prospective customers.
  • Provides product overviews and presentations to qualified customers on request.
  • Emphasizes salable features, quotes prices and credit terms, and prepares sales orders for orders obtained.
  • Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm's production and delivery schedules.
  • Builds and maintains customer's relationships.
  • Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database.
  • Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries.
  • Travels to and attends trade shows on an as needed basis.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university
  • Or one to two years related experience and/or training
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience

Language Ability:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Math Ability:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite word processing software; Zoom; Microsoft Excel spreadsheet software; Internet software and Emun order processing systems.
