Job description

SeaBear Company is currently seeking for motivated individuals to join our Distribution and Packaging Team.

This position which has the primary responsibility for day-to-day operations in both our Distribution Center as well as our Packaging Department and will move between departments as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Picking, packing and shipping perishable and non-perishable orders for our wholesale and direct-to-consumer customers
  • Assembling boxes and other packaging formats in our packaging department
  • Assembling gift baskets and associated gift packaging
  • Completing paperwork for product tracking
  • Responsible for labeling packages and, when needed, ensuring their delivery to external carriers.
  • Maintain a clean warehouse, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, food safety protocols, and general safety standards.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Attention to Detail
  • Read and write in English
  • Basic Computer Skills

Working Conditions:

  • Standing for 2hrs at a time, for up to 10hrs
  • Lifting and moving boxes weighing up to 50lbs
  • Manual dexterity to use both hands to inspect, pack, tape, and move product
  • Full range of motion for pushing, pulling, twisting, stooping, reaching, grasping associated items

This position is based at our production facility in Anacortes, WA and will report to the Distribution and Packaging Manager. The schedule for this position is Monday - Thursday, 6am to 430pm (10hr shifts), with occasional Fridays/weekends, as needed. The starting wage for this position is $18-$19/hour.
