Job Summary:

The Packaging Operator is a designated position responsible foroperating filler equipment and support equipmentacross all packaging lines,toincludeourBottleLines,CanLine,KegLine, and Repack Line. To hold thisposition,an operator must be proficient with packaging equipment andensure all packaged beer meetsquality controlstandards.Additionally, aPackagingOperatoris expectedtosetanexample with their knowledge, character, and team-work skills,helping to create a positive and efficientworkenvironment.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Specifically, the responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following activities:

  • Follow and efficiently execute the packaging schedule; ensure orders are met on time and meet all QC requirements.

  • Understand and adjust packaging equipment parameters to maximize efficiency.

  • Operate packaging line equipment (both filler and support) according to SOPs; ensure all QC parameters are being met.

  • Keep all packaging and storage areas sanitized, organized, and clean.

  • CIP and sanitize packaging lines according to SOPs.

  • Oversee beer transfer from the various cellars utilizingBrewmaxxandmonitoringit throughout production runs.

  • Assistwith directing support staff to aid in efficient packagingoperation.

  • Maintain awareness of inventory levels of relevant packaging materials; inform management if shortages exist.

  • Use mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting capabilities to tune andmaintainequipment for minimal downtime. Keep equipment clean and sanitary to ensure minimal downtime.

  • Complete allinitialandon-goingassigned safety training.

  • Other duties as assigned.
