Gift Shop
Job Summary
Works directly with the Gift Shop Manager to support the daily operations of the hospital gift shop. Responsible for daily cash reconciliation and financial reporting using the POS system for report generation. Assists with the processing of merchandise received, displaying in an appealing manner and replaces items upon sale. Facilitates meeting the needs of customers of the gift shop and supporting the diverse population of volunteers. Opens and closes the Gift Shop and available to work varied hours including weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Require a minimum of one (1) year of retail experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prefer demonstrated ability to work a flexible schedule with availability of various shift times between 7am-7pm Monday - Sunday.
- Prefer demonstrated ability to work with a volunteer staff and a diverse public.
- Prefer demonstrated computer skills using various applications (i.e., excel/word/publisher).
- Prefer demonstrated effective organizational and customer service skills.
- Prefer demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Prefer demonstrated positive interpersonal skills and attention to detail skills.
Mandatory Education
HS EQ: High School Diploma, GED or Certificate
