Job description

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Firearms Store Manager to oversee daily operations of a reputable firearms retail store. This role requires strong leadership, in-depth firearms knowledge, and a commitment to safety, compliance, and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all day-to-day store operations, including sales, inventory, and staff supervision

  • Ensure full compliance with all federal, state, and local firearms laws and ATF regulations

  • Lead, train, and motivate a sales team to deliver outstanding customer experiences

  • Oversee firearms inventory, transfers, background check procedures, and recordkeeping

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and secure retail environment

  • Handle customer inquiries with professionalism and product expertise

  • Monitor sales performance, set goals, and implement strategies to drive revenue

  • Coordinate with vendors, distributors, and compliance authorities as needed

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in firearms retail or a related industry

  • Strong working knowledge of firearms, ammunition, and accessories

  • Thorough understanding of firearms laws and compliance requirements

  • Leadership or management experience preferred
