Shipping and Receiving Warehouse Specialist $18 - $20 an hour

Taylor Staffing in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma is looking for an experienced shipping and receiving professional who has specialized in the expediting of goods and tracking incoming and outgoing materials.  Candidates must have experience in working in a manufacturing environment, ability to oversee operation and projects, know how to operate software for shipping/receiving and inventory tracking, and MUST have a resume with relevant experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

• Individual will be responsible for moving throughout the shop from operation to operation

• Responsible for making daily transactions in computer system to help maintain accurate reporting methods

• Support shop floor by supplying parts and paperwork when needed in a timely manner

• Prepare parts to be sent to OV operations by packaging, preparing shippers and setting up delivery

• Presentation of the status of various parts on a daily basis

REQUIREMENTS:

• Effective computer skills; Microsoft office (Excel needs to be strong) and other company software requirements (ASI experience a plus)
• Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues and individuals inside the company
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and plan work
• Individual must be able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
• Must be able to frequently lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to operate a sit-down forklift
• Previous manufacturing background a plus
