Pegasus Technologies is hiring a full-time Systems Administrator to manage and support computer systems and networks. Candidate should have a minimum of 1-3 years of experience supporting networks of Microsoft products such as Windows 10, 11, Windows Server 2016, 2019 and Microsoft Office. Exchange Server and Office 365 experience and industry certifications are welcome. You will answer customer telephone calls, provide remote technical support from our Kennett Square office, and travel to customer sites to resolve customer issues.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and respond to client inquiries and support requests via phone, email, and onsite.
- Provide professional services to our clients and partner base
- Maintain detailed documentation on client interactions and client environment
- Project Implementation support and management
- Ensure productivity standards and metrics are maintained
- Work closely with other support representatives in a tiered support model
- Work with supervisor and other technical team leaders to ensure consistency of service
Required technical experience includes:
- Windows command line interface
- Windows Server 2016, 2019 administration
- Active Directory administration and support
- TCP/IP networking, including DNS and DHCP
- Experience with spyware and virus removal
- Batch file creation and Windows scripting
- Expert knowledge of device manager and computer hardware
- Registry modification
- PC hardware troubleshooting
Required Skills:
- Readily troubleshoot complex problems by logically reducing the number of variables in a methodical fashion
- Be willing and able to follow operational procedures, including documentation standards, dispatch scheduling, and detailed time accounting
- Have a natural curiosity for technology and enjoy learning new things
- Understand the critical importance of keeping customers satisfied
- Patiently and quickly locate, search, and understand log files
- Patiently and quickly search, read, and comprehend product documentation and knowledge base articles in order to solve a problem or install a new service
- Understand the importance of adhering to data security practices
- Work both independently and on a team, depending on the project
- Have excellent communication skills in order to efficiently listen to customer inquiries and explain actions taken towards issue resolution to customers and supervisor
- Maintain high reviews for customer service excellence
- Must have a current driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must have a functioning cell phone
