We are searching for an Electrical Controls Technician to join our client’s growing team.

Basic Job Functions:

  • Provide electrical support through automation, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting electrical equipment
  • Perform corrective and preventive maintenance functions
  • Perform configuration, programming, monitoring, & troubleshooting for PLCs, network switches, servers, and HMI workstations
  • Develop and implement projects for continuous improvement

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of Industrial Electrical Maintenance experience in manufacturing; electrical training or equivalent military experience
  • Knowledge in power distribution, motor control centers, instrumentation, automated systems, PLC and HMI programming, and variable frequency drive troubleshooting in manufacturing.
  • Basic mechanical and hydraulic knowledge
  • Extensive AC & DC drive experience
  • Self-starter
  • Proven team player that works effectively in a group
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong commitment to Safety in all job aspects

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2year technical degree in electrical maintenance technology and 3+ years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance
  • Extensive AC & DC motors and drives experience
  • Knowledge and experience with Power systems maintenance
  • Extensive PLC systems building, programming, and troubleshooting experience
  • HMI Wonderware, Factory Talk building, programming, and troubleshooting experience
  • Basic pneumatic and hydraulic system knowledge
