Company Description

(www.lso-inc.com) is in North Orange County in the city of Brea, California. Life Science Outsourcing, Inc (LSO) is a contract manufacturer of medical devices with in-built capabilities to offer clients full-service solutions through our six divisions. Clients rely on LSO to perform all activities required to introduce their products to market, from sourcing to drop shipping.

In January of 2021 LSO has partnered with PPC Enterprises (www.ppcenterprises.com), a leading private equity firm based out of New York to expand LSO's geographic reach in the medical device arena.

Due to the recent acquisition and 24 years of growth, we are currently seeking a self-motivated Jr. Inside Sales Associate with a good positive energy to join our team. In this role you will be responsible maximizing profit by achieving sales revenue targets and grow market share in the medical device arena by promoting and selling LSO capabilities.

The Jr. Inside Sales Associate plays a significant and strategic role in the success of LSO and reports directly to the Director of Sales and Marketing.

Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from ad inquiries, trade shows, direct mail responses, card deck leads, aged leads, bingos, dealer resellers, business directories, Internet Web sites, and other sources.
  • Makes outbound lead follow-up calls to potential and existing customers by telephone and e-mail to qualify leads and sell products and services.
  • Handles inbound sales lead calls to convert calls into sales.
  • Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into HubSpot CRM.
  • Reviews workflows and automations within CRM (HubSpot)
  • Overcomes technical and business objections of prospective customers.
  • Provides product demos to qualified customers on request.
  • Emphasizes salable features, quotes prices and credit terms, and prepares sales orders for orders obtained.
  • Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of firm's production and delivery schedules.
  • Prepares reports of business transactions.
  • Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into HubSpot CRM.
  • Reviews workflows and automations within CRM (HubSpot)
  • Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries.
  • Travels to and attends trade shows.
  • Ability to develop, implement and deliver on plans to achieve/exceed sales targets.
  • Identified competitive accounts in which to establish and promote new business
  • Effectively manage time to ensure maximum coverage of all accounts within territory in order to achieve optimum level of exposure and results
  • Develop and act on plans which identify growth opportunities (cross-selling services) within current and competitive customer accounts
  • Control and manage expenses in the most cost-effective manner for the company
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal/external key decision makers, customers and their staff, administrative staff, etc.
  • Probe to understand and confirm customers' needs, handle objections, and gain commitment by customers on actions to drive revenue growth and maximize profitability
  • Maximize revenue potential by targeting specific customers to gain sales leads and develop business opportunities to drive growth
  • Respond to customer requests and resolve complaints in a prompt and effective manner
  • Develop and maintain productive, collaborative working relationships within company to ensure maximum sales support and a high level of customer service
  • Actively contribute to the development of a strong team effort
  • Proactively develop knowledge, skills and abilities in all relevant areas, e.g., technical, product and sales skills


Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • Prefer sales experience in medical device sales, surgical sales, and sterilization
  • Medical tech sales are especially preferred but not required
  • Completion of a strong sales training program
  • Demonstrated high level of sales performance in a highly technical, competitive, and volatile environment
  • Demonstrated skills in account, inventory, expense, and budget management
  • Demonstrated skills in sales planning, organization and execution
  • Consistent success working in a variety of business conditions
  • Demonstrated success working in a collaborative environment
  • Continual self-development
  • Experience utilizing Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) HubSpot preferred.
  • Computer (PC) literacy
  • Requires the ability to communicate effectively, written and verbal as well as good people skills.
