Associate Attorney

Our law firm has a full-time associate attorney position available now and we’re looking for the right professional to join our team. You will have the opportunity to learn from rainmaking, managing attorneys on legal and business issues, plus providing legal counsel to existing clients. You’ll also be responsible for performing legal research, drafting documents, drafting pleadings, updating files, working with other legal staff, and keeping client files up to date. $75,000 - $85,000 yearly

• Organize and maintain files to ensure accuracy for other attorneys, paralegals, and staff
• Draft documents such as correspondence, pleadings, motions, briefs, affidavits, settlement agreements, and contracts to be used proceedings and contract negotiations
• Attend court hearings or other legal proceedings, perform legal research, and work with senior associate attorneys to provide legal advice
• Analyze conflicts in legal matters, advise clients on solutions, and negotiate on behalf of clients
• Communicate with senior associates, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently

• Applicants must have successfully passed the state bar exam
• Solid communication skills and problem-solving skills required in order to work with clients, staff members and senior attorneys
• Has a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school
• Prepared to learn from senior attorneys to meet our client needs and grow our client base

• Must be in Good Standing with the Georgia Bar.
• Must have experience in family law, business litigation, AND/OR business/corporate law.
• We are not seeking individuals who only have experience in personal injury, insurance defense, medical malpractice, employment law, and criminal law, respectfully.

We are a non-traditional, fun, fast paced, professional firm with clients in ten states and two countries. Because of our high profile clients, we require a background check and execution of a nondisclosure agreement.

We handle entertainment, business, estate planning, probate and a limited number of family law cases for certain clients.

The office is in a fun, thriving location in Midtown Atlanta and we pay for parking.
