Customer Service Rep

JOB DESCRIPTION - ROLE:

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our Automotive Electronic Products (AEP) team in our Logansport, Indiana location. As a Customer Service Representative reporting to the PMO Manager, this position is responsible for key customer communications and organization as well as helping build those customer relationships.  A CSR is expected to be detailed oriented with exceptional documentation and communication skills both written and orally.

Major responsibilities:

• • Perform contract review and signoff for customer orders.

• Organize and enter customer forecasts into database to more effectively manage capacity, backlog, and inventory issues.
• Quotation Process – Assist Program Managers with the RFQ process from inception through the proposal presentation process.
• Entering customer sales price information into IFS
• Develop and communication specific sales metrics including trending sales data, book to bill, and quote log information.
• Be the communications hub for order status for customers including shipment timing, tracking, and advanced shipment notifications.
• Key customer facing contact for order fulfillment in cases where we ship directly to our customer’s customer.
• Assist Program Managers with phase in and phase out planning related to ECRs or customer product changes as it pertains to excess and obsolete inventory related to the change.
• Assist Program Managers with tracking, reporting, and disposition or excess and obsolete materials related to a given customer.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimal of 2-4 years of Customer Service, Sales and/or Account Management experience
• Associates degree in Business or a Technical Discipline is required or equivalent related work experience
