Job Description
Description:
Duties of the General Maintenance Technician shall include:
- Performing various turf management tasks such as grounds cleanup of debris, mowing and trimming of lawns and grounds areas.
- Moving equipment, material, and office furniture from one location to another
- Performing set-up and breakdown services for special events. Such services may include delivery and erection of tents; and delivery and set-up of tables and chairs
- Providing manual labor support to other Facilities Management trades; e.g. carpenters, electricians, plumbers.
- Performs rough and general finish carpentry
- Install wood roofing and siding, tile, flooring, ceilings, and other architectural systems etc.
- Performs staining, sealing, painting, and other coating systems
Qualifications
- Possess a valid drivers license
- Be capable of lifting 75 pounds
- Be able to perform work from a ladder
- Must be able to work outside in inclement weather
- Previous experience in a maintenance profession desired
- Must be able to manage time efficiently
- Self- motivated
