Meyer Distributing is looking for a General Maintenance Technician to join our Arlington team - we are hiring immediately! Meyer Distributing is a leader in automotive specialty products marketing and warehouse distribution.


The General Maintenance Technician assists in building maintenance of electrical, plumbing, carpentry and grounds. This includes general maintenance, upkeep, repairs and improvement of the building.


License Requirements:

  • Requires a valid driver's license

Experience:

  • Previous warehouse maintenance or building maintenance experience preferred
  • Training: Minimum one month on the job training required

Requirements for General Maintenance Technician:

  • Ability to give special attention to detail
  • Must have ability to recognize letters and numbers
  • Must have strong verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to lift 75 pounds
  • Must be available for occasional out of town travel

Schedule:

Monday through Friday 6am to 2:45pm

Pay:

Up to $27 depending on experience

General Maintenance Technician duties include but are not limited to:

  • Make repairs and changes to configurations in the warehouse, includes: painting, moving furniture, drywall, basic plumbing, basic electrical, etc.
  • Install and repair wifi thermostats
  • Perform physical inspections and preventative maintenance
  • Perform ac repair work and all other maintenance related repairs
  • All other duties as assigned
