Job description

GENERAL MAINTENANCE
ย 

POSITION: General Maintenance WORK SCHEDULE: 260 days/8 hours per dayย ย  SALARY RANGE: Position is on Grade 14 of the Classified Salary Scale
(based on related experience)
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • General maintenanlce skills required;
  • Knowledge and ability to operate power driven equipment;
  • Ability to repair or replace door locks, window glass, flooring, etc.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor such as small electrical repairs, roof repairs, landscaping, plumbing repairs, painting, cutting grass, and other general work that would be performed by the Maintenance Department;
  • High school diploma or GED;
  • Position requires heavy lifting;
  • Valid SC driver's license;
  • Previous experience in maintenance is a priority;
  • Ability to maintain all safety code requirements of state, local, and Board of Education guidelines.
