Requirement for Maintenance Tech.

Real Estate Development and management company is looking for someone to add to current staff. Position will allow the team to more effectively cross train and focus on property improvements vs. just keeping up with the day-to-day responsibilities.

Job Description: Responsible for day-to-day tasks related to several multifamily and some commercial work might be included in the role. Position will be responsible for assisting residential tenants with all their requests including knowledge of boilers, furnaces, hot water tanks, appliances, plumbing and basic electrical. Drywall, painting and flooring installation for unit remodels. Also be available to support grounds maintenance (including snow removal) and continuous value add projects around all properties. Minimal on-call responsibility for nights and weekends. This responsibility will be shared with other individuals.

Requirements: Experienced individual with plumbing, electrical, appliances and mechanical. Drywall, LVT flooring installation and painting, or the desire to be taught and learn. Extremely detail oriented, professional, with excellent customer service skills. Individuals must have their own automobile and a great driving record. Previous experience working in property management or construction is a requirement. A self-starter that doesn’t need to be told what to do and can help initiate value-add projects. Strong organization and computer skills as we convert to a paperless community. Strong English or Spanish verbal and non-verbal skills.

Compensation: $22 to $30/hour, bonus, mileage reimbursement, paid health insurance, paid dental, HSA and 401k with matching are available.
