Insurance M&A Attorney

Our global law firm client is seeking an Associate with 2-4 years of experience to work with its Insurance Transactions & Products practice group in the NY or DC office. They are looking to add a team member with experience advising clients on mergers and acquisitions.

We are seeking attorneys who possess:

• Two to four years of related law firm experience is required.
• Skills and experience related to handling a broad range of transactional matters.
• Prior work in insurance not required, but knowledge of the insurance industry would be a significant plus. Working knowledge of pension risk transfer (PRT) transactions, asset-intensive reinsurance transactions, matters involving complex or unique collateral arrangements or structures, assisting insurers in managing their long-term credit exposure, and advising on asset management issues involving various structured classes of assets, fee structures and hedges would be especially valued.
