Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Sales and Business Development Associate who will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and winning opportunities within the federal General Services Administration (GSA) and California state government markets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interpreting IT projects, writing compelling proposals, and cultivating relationships with key stakeholders to drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and qualify potential sales opportunities within the federal GSA and California government sectors.
Interpret IT projects, contracts, and procurement documents to understand client requirements and develop tailored solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including technical experts, project managers, and finance to develop comprehensive proposals that address client needs and requirements.
Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, procurement officers, and other stakeholders within government agencies.
Drive the sales cycle from lead generation to closure, including contract negotiations and proposal presentations.
Stay informed about industry trends, government regulations, and upcoming opportunities to strategically position the company for success.
Provide regular updates and reports on sales pipeline, revenue forecasts, and market insights to senior management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
Proven track record of success in sales and business development within the federal government GSA schedule and California state government procurement processes.
Strong understanding of IT solutions and services, including software development, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and digital transformation initiatives.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
Experience in writing and managing proposals, including responding to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients and internal teams.
