Business Development Manager - ERP Software Solutions
Location: Irving Texas (candidates must be local to D/FW area or live in Texas)
Travel: Approximately 30%

What You'll Do
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving new customer acquisition and expanding iRely's presence throughout North America.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to generate new software sales revenues within the Agriculture industry
  • Identify, qualify, and build relationships with executive decision-makers within agriculture, agribusiness, food processing, commodity trading, manufacturing, and related industries.
  • Manage the complete enterprise sales cycle, including prospecting, discovery, product demonstrations, proposal development, RFP responses, contract negotiations, and closing.
  • Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline while consistently achieving sales goals.
  • Partner closely with Product Management, Marketing, Professional Services, and Customer Success teams to execute successful go-to-market strategies.
  • Analyze industry trends, competitive activity, and customer requirements to identify new market opportunities.
  • Represent iRely at industry conferences, customer events, and trade shows.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and sales activity within the company's CRM platform.
  • Travel to customer sites, industry events, and trade shows throughout the United States.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Agriculture, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5-7+ years of successful business development or enterprise software sales experience.
  • Proven experience selling ERP or SaaS services software, or similar enterprise software solutions.
  • Experience selling in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Manufacturing, and Commodities industries is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success developing new business and managing complex consultative sales engagements.
  • Strong executive presence with excellent presentation, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience developing sales strategies, territory plans, and revenue forecasts.
  • Proficiency using CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar systems.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating across multiple departments.

Preferred Experience
  • Enterprise ERP software sales
  • 1 to 4 years experience in Agriculture or Agribusiness technology
  • Commodity Trading & Risk Management (CTRM) a plus
