Overview
As the Bilingual Member Services Officer, you will assist Credit Union members within their consumer lending division, located in Portland's thriving eastside. You will oversee the customer service team, manage all paperwork and documentation compliance required for members accessing available lending services, and assist with time-sensitive follow-up tasks.
Responsibilities
- Corresponds with or interviews new member and/or loan applicants.
- Prepares necessary documents for approval and processes approved membership/loan documents for disbursement/filing.
- Ensuring compliance with Credit Union polices and legal requirements.
- Initiates member interviews.
- Answers loan and account questions and calculates payments.
- Takes loan and membership applications in person and/or electronically from members and potential members.
- Identifies cross-sell opportunities and cross-sells services to members.
- Other projects as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
- 5+ year of recent Credit Union or Banking experience
- 5+ years of recent lending or financing experience
- Accurate 10-Key data entry experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite programs
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Bilingual Spanish-English (read, write, speak)
- Upon job offer, ability to pass pre-employment background check
Schedule: Monday - Friday (8:00AM - 5:00PM)
Compensation: $25.00 Hourly + Amazing Benefits Package!
- PTO: Earn up to 16 days in the first year; and 5 days annually of RSB (Reserve Sick Bank)
