Preventative Maintenance Mechanic

Position summary:

We are currently seeking a dedicated Preventative Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing essential preventative maintenance tasks on company equipment and building structures. If you have a strong background in industrial machine repair, along with knowledge in various maintenance areas, and are committed to ensuring the safety and functionality of our equipment and facilities, we encourage you to apply.

Shift times for this position:

1st shift: 6:00am to 2:30pm must be open to working up until 4:30 when needed.

(Monday – Friday & ½ day on Saturday)

Tasks Needed to Perform:

Conduct routine preventative maintenance tasks on company machines, plants, and equipment.
Adhere to power lockout procedures as specified to maintain a safe work environment.
Participate in building construction and remodeling projects as specified.
Implement and maintain preventative maintenance procedures to extend the lifespan of equipment.
Maintain plant equipment folders, ensuring that records are accurate and up to date.
Monitor company hazardous materials and waste, keeping the necessary records.
Uphold compliance with company Quality Policies.
Support our continuous improvement initiative by identifying and implementing efficiency improvements.
Complete any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Knowledge of industrial machine repair, including electrical, welding, plumbing, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Training in handling hazardous materials and recordkeeping to ensure safety and compliance.
