Job Description

Contract Mechanical Engineer - Process Piping Design

We are looking for a Contract Mechanical Engineer to join our team of engineers in the process piping design department. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of process piping design principles and experience in the design of process piping systems. The position will be based in our office in Houston, Texas.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the design of process piping systems.
Work with other engineers and designers to develop and implement design solutions.
Prepare and review engineering drawings and specifications.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure that the design is in compliance with all applicable codes and standards.
Monitor the construction of process piping systems to ensure that the design is being implemented correctly.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Experience in B31.3 Process Piping and Design
Experience in Autodesk Applications (preferably Vault and/or Plant 3D)
Strong understanding of process piping design principles and standards.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
