GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
The Orthopedic Innovation Manager plays a critical role in driving advancements and fostering innovation within our orthopedic clinic or healthcare institution. This individual will lead efforts to evaluate, implement, and optimize new technologies, treatments, and practices in orthopedic care, with the goal of improving patient outcomes, enhancing operational efficiency, and staying at the forefront of orthopedic healthcare.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Research and evaluate emerging technologies, devices, and treatment modalities relevant to orthopedic care.
- Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to assess the clinical efficacy, safety, and feasibility of adopting new innovations.
- Develop implementation plans and strategies for integrating new technologies into clinical practice, ensuring seamless adoption and workflow integration.
- Lead innovation initiatives aimed at improving orthopedic care delivery, patient experience, and clinical outcomes.
- Identify areas for process improvement, efficiency gains, and cost reduction through the implementation of innovative solutions.
- Cultivate relationships with industry partners, technology vendors, and research institutions to explore collaboration opportunities and access cutting-edge innovations.
- Negotiate contracts, partnerships, and licensing agreements for the acquisition and utilization of innovative technologies and solutions.
- Represent the organization at conferences, symposiums, and industry events to stay informed about the latest trends and developments in orthopedic innovation.
- Provide training and education to orthopedic staff on the use of new technologies and innovations, ensuring proficiency and compliance with best practices.
- Monitor and analyze data to identify opportunities for optimization, refinement, and further innovation.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative stakeholders to address challenges, overcome barriers, and drive continuous improvement in orthopedic innovation initiatives.
