Company Description
The Polar Shades story begins in 1995, when the sweltering sun of the Las Vegas valley entered into homes and passed through the best blinds and drapes available. Southern Nevada residents were looking everywhere for an alternative to the low-quality solutions the market had to offer.

Steve Mevius, a Vegas native, went to work building a business that blended excellent window-covering solutions with a streamlined installment team – all at an affordable price. Before long, the Polar Shades brand was born.

Since then, it’s been our mission to deliver products that exceed even our industry-leading standards.
