ASI currently has a hybrid work model. This position requires in person attendance at our office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

In this role, you will plan, manage, and execute the operational details for ASI Shows and hosted buyer events. This includes managing transportation vendors and working on internal processes to document housing for ASI staff at three major industry shows: Orlando, Fort Worth and Chicago. You will also work with the Director of Operations to recommend and secure items for President's Incentive Trip, Counselor Awards and Power Summit events.

The Operations Manager will report to the Director, ASI Show Operations. You'll join our ASI Show department and collaborate with our operations team to execute successful ASI tradeshows and events.

The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $70,000.

Responsibilities:

  • Review transportation RFPs; make recommendations on shuttle needs/services for ASI Gala events.
  • Create repeatable process for managing internal housing list for ASI staff at ASI Show events.
  • Collaboration with Director of Operations on the proof, review, and approval process for brand consistency for merchandise given at ASI events.
  • Ensuring event transportation schedules and information details are accurate on event websites and all pertinent print and digital communications.
  • Managing any issues that may arise during meetings/events and identifying effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • Managing details of production of high-profile events.
  • Managing outside vendors, including contracts, agreements, and service arrangements.
  • Creating a schedule of events and serving as a point person of contact, managing all updates and distribution of schedules.
  • Managing special event set-up, including entertainment, signage, event collateral, etc.
  • Presenting information during pre-convention meetings with internal stakeholders and vendor partners.
  • Traveling to ASI Shows and events, as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 5+ years of experience as a tradeshow or event planner.
  • 5+ years of experience working in an operations position.
  • Demonstrates a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage deadlines efficiently.
