GDIT is looking for a Network Operations Authorized Service Interruption (ASI) Coordinator to support the USCENTCOM Information Technology Services (CITS) Program supporting the USCENTCOM J6 in Tampa, FL.

  • Team Environment:The successful candidate must be an active, collaborative team player.

  • Operational Schedule:This position operates within a 24/7 environment and is a shift-rotating role that strictly requires working nights and weekends.

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As a Network Operations ASI Coordinator, the work you'll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of USCENTCOM. Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • ASI Management:Oversee the overall management of intra-theater and inter-theater ASIs impacting HQ and Forward HQ USCENTCOM customers.

  • Request Coordination:Process, prioritize, de-conflict, and track all incoming ASI requests.

  • Impact Assessments:Provide detailed operational impact assessments on network systems due to requested ASIs.

  • Information Gathering:Gather accurate information regarding network outages, security incidents affecting enterprise-wide services, and planned maintenance on USCENTCOM systems.

  • Ticketing & Reporting:Complete trouble tickets using USCENTCOM-approved systems and generate reports to maintain situational awareness across the enterprise.


WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED

Education and Certifications

Required:

  • Experience:5+ years of relevant IT or network operations experience.

  • Certification:CompTIA Security+ CE Certification.

  • Must have a current/active TS/SCI clearance

  • U.S. citizenship required due to the TS/SCI clearance requirement.

Desired:

  • Education:Master's Degree with a focus in Communications, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field of study.

  • Certification:ITIL v4 Certification.

The likely salary range for this position is $85,093 - $100,050. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
