Job description

Intake Analyst

Schedule:Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Hybrid (Three days in office, two days WFH)
Compensation:$70,000-$85,000, commensurate with experience

What You'll Do:
  • Client File Management:

    • Set up and maintain cost exceptions and restricted matter worklists for client files.
    • Handle edits for costs and resolve cost-related errors.
    • Ensure all required documentation (e.g., client billing guidelines and approvals) is received for incoming clients.
    • Maintain a log of needed items and follow up with attorneys and secretaries to obtain missing information.
  • Data Maintenance and Reporting:

    • Review weekly reports to ensure new timekeepers are promptly added to matter worklists.
    • Generate routine and ad hoc reports of client, matter, and timekeeper information for the CFO, COO, partners, and firm-wide distribution.
  • Support and Ad Hoc Projects:

    • Assist with other Intake-related special projects as necessary.

What You'll Bring:
  • Education:

    • Bachelor's degree (preferred).
  • Experience:

    • 2-4 years of relevant experience, preferably in a Biglaw firm environment.
  • Technical Skills:

    • Advanced knowledge ofExcel 2007, including:
      • Tables, pivot tables, and charts.
      • Basic functions like VLOOKUP and nested IF statements.
      • Conditional formatting and Microsoft Query.
    • Familiarity with3E/Access(a plus).
  • Key Attributes:

    • Exceptional follow-up skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
    • Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
