Position Overview:
Project managers are responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed on schedule, within budget while maintaining quality craftsmanship and safety. Project managers plan and designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed throughout the project duration. Project execution should be done within the confines of company goals and vision.
Major Duties:
- Planning and Defining Scope with emphasis on Structured Cabling
- Strong Design Build Capability with emphasis on Structured Cabling
- Activity Coordination / Sequencing
- Resource Planning
- Develop Schedules
- Understand Construction Drawings
- Cost Estimating (Accubid software preferable)
- Budget Development
- Documentation Organization
- Creating Charts and Schedules
- Risk Analysis
- Managing Risks and Issues
- Monitoring and Reporting Progress
- Team Leadership
- Strategic Influencing
- Business Partnering
- Working with Partners
- Supply Chain Management
- Controlling Quality
- Customer Service
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ Years in Structured Cabling Industry
- Experience running crews
- Sales Experience
- Estimating Experience preferred
Preferred Experience/Qualifications:
- Proficient in Accubid
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 360
- Proficient in Bluebeam
- Presentation and Sales Skills
- Project Financial Management
- Previous Project Management Experience in Low Voltage Industry
- Understanding of Security, Audio Visual, and DAS networks
- Previous experience managing subcontractors
