Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and optimization of silicone fabrication processes to ensure high-quality, cost-effective production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Quality Assurance, and Regulatory Affairs, to ensure products meet all specifications, regulations, and industry standards.
- Drive innovation in silicone product design and manufacturing techniques, staying ahead of industry trends and technological advancements.
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of new products and materials, adhering to stringent quality control and regulatory standards.
- Provide technical expertise and leadership in problem-solving and process improvements, ensuring scalability and efficiency in production.
- Manage projects from conception through to production, ensuring timelines, budget constraints, and customer expectations are met.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Materials Science, or related field), with a Masters or PhD degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in silicone fabrication, specifically within the medical device industry.
- Strong knowledge of FDA regulations, ISO 13485, and other relevant standards.
- Proven track record of leading successful product development projects in a regulated environment.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
