Salary:

Starting at $62,740.00 (Exempt)

About the Position:

Oversee the day-to-day work of Medically Complex Family Workers and Family Support Workers, providing support, information, and back-up, while ensuring quality and timely delivery of service and care coordination as it relates to Medically Complex Youth in Care.

A Typical Day as a Medically Complex Team Supervisor:

• Ensure that case reviews are completed on time and reflect client input.
• Evaluate all medically complex foster care services provided to ensure the services are meeting long-term objectives of the agency and meeting standards of time and cost efficiencies.
• Provide Medically Complex case management and other services to clients when staff is not available.
• Review and approve records, reports, and documentation from supervised staff to ensure accuracy and compliance with guidelines and procedures.
• Provide weekly one-on-one supervision with medically complex family workers.
• Serve as educational liaison for children served by your team.
• Serve as medical liaison for Medically Complex Youth in care served by the Medically Complex Case Management Team.

Does the Following Apply to You?

• Master's degree in Social Work, Human Service, or related field
• Supervising Experiences (preferred)
• Medical Case Management Experience (preferred)

Additional Qualifications:

• Completion of DCFS criminal background check and fingerprinting
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Obtain an insured vehicle
• At least three years of driving experience with a valid driver's license
• Successful completion of DCFS Foundations Training to obtain Child Welfare Licensure
