Catholic Religious Education Coordinator –$18.00-$25.00 per hour– Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey

We're seeking a part-time Catholic Religious Education Coordinator at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey. The successful candidate will embody a devotion to Catholic teaching and will guide our religious education initiatives with enthusiasm and expertise.

This is a part-time, 5-year contract vacancy. You shall work a minimum of 24 regularly scheduled office hours per week during normal duty hours, 0730-1630 on Monday – Friday. Requirements on Sundays, 0830-1030, during September through May.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and coordinate educational programs, including Adult RE, RCIA, CCD, and Sacramental Education.
• Manage and promote family faith learning using the AMS Family Faith Assessment resource.
• Collaborate with other Catholic ministries for a unified catechetical approach.
• Participate in services, events, and chapel meetings, providing a guiding presence within the community.
• Prepare quarterly statistical reports and publish annual RE handbooks and calendars.

The Person

• Confirmation as a practicing Catholic with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• AMS Catechist certification and, if possible, an Advanced Certificate Program completion.
• Current Safe Environment Training certificate.
• Proven experience in RE program teaching, coordination, or direction.
• Computer proficiency, especially in Microsoft software.
• Ability to operate independently in dynamic and diverse settings.
• At least one reference letter from a Catholic Pastor.
