Job Description

Summary
Ensures increasing levels of customer and employee satisfaction while improving the efficiency of manpower, materials, and machines. Evaluates work processes to determine strategies and programs which provide greater productivity and efficiency of company functions by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • NPI Operating Systems
  • Master-cam and Solid-works Exp.
  • Come from a Hi-Tech Industry
  • 3, 4, and 5 axis Machining exposure
  • We utilize almost all Fanuc Controls and some Mazak
  • Quoting abilities a must
  • Previously worked with high-need customers
  • Been in a tight tolerance, high precision CNC machine shop
  • Had a minimum 6 direct reports
  • Exposure and implantation of Lean Manufacturing Principals
  • Focused on Delivery Times
  • Accountability, Coaching Mentality, Leadership abilities, and knowledge to grow a Team


Education and/or Experience

  • 10-15 years as an elite Engineering Manager previously in a Machine Shop Environment
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering Preferred


Language Skills
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

Mathematical Skills
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

Computer Skills
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
