Duties and responsibilities
- Follow the project instructions of the supervisor.
- Follow all health and safety regulations when operating the equipment.
- Ensure proper regulated helmets, ear plugs, gloves, safety glasses, and clothing are worn
- Tree trimming and stump removal.
- Bring trees down in a safe manner.
Requirements
- Must have experience.
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Previous work experience as a tree climber and chainsaw operator
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience
- Must be able to operate maintenance equipment including lawn mowers, leaf blowers, and hedge trimmers
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift heavy loads as needed
- Must be able to pass drug test
- need to have steel toe boots, ppe (chainsaw boots, chaps, helmet, eye protection, and ear protection
- Chainsaw safety course is a big plus
- Must know how to use proper knots for climbing rigs
- Owning tree climbing equipment is a big plus
